2003 Ranger Ranger 521VX

Built on a 21-foot 3-inch frame, the Ranger 521VX Comanche is rated for maximum of 250 horsepower. Available with a single or dual console, the 521VX has a 92 ½-inch beam and dual tank fuel capacity of 52 gallons. The overall design includes lower profile contours, high-performance cockpit, and 14-inch engine setback, all engineered for faster hole shots and top-end acceleration.

To assure high durability and a smooth ride, the 521VX has Ranger's exclusive pultruded fiberglass transom; fiberglass stringer system; and layers of zone-tempered, interwoven fiberglass inside the hull. Also included is the Rite-Track Keel hull design and Sea Star Pro steering.

The front deck of the 521VX features two large rod boxes: an eight-foot port box, and a center box with two rows holding seven-foot six-inch rods and seven-foot rods. There is also rod storage with retractable straps on the deck. A lockable compartment forward of the driver's console includes a Pro Stow tackle organizer. A starboard compartment offers additional lockable storage.

Centered in the rear deck of the 521VX is a large livewell equipped with a removable divider and filter screens. The recirculating Air Venturi aeration system has both manual and automatic timer functions, and a unique pump-out feature making fish more accessible.

For extra comfort the 521VX includes Ranger's exclusive S-R-S soft-ride seats that use a spring compression support system. For greater security and convenience a new digital keyless ignition system has also been included on the 521.
